Gather at Sångdalen

Retreats, reunions, celebrations, and time together.

A home, not just a venue

One valley the whole gathering can live in.

A gathering is rarely a single afternoon. It is arrivals and late dinners, wet boots by cabin doors, one more song than anyone planned. Sångdalen holds all of it in one place.

  1. 1

    Sleep across the valley

Lodges, cabins, and camps — Morgondal, Aftongården, Björklund, Tallbacken, and the hillside camps — so the people closest to you stay where the gathering is.

  2. 2

    Eat together

The Lodge's dining spaces and Eldstugan's hearth — long tables, shared meals, and the covered porch conversations that follow them.

  3. 3

    Sing together

Sångringen, the timber amphitheater in the hillside. Someone begins a song; by the second chorus, they aren't singing alone.

  4. 4

    Run wild

Stora Ängen for the games and the lying-in-the-grass, Äventyrsskogen for the climbers, the trails for everyone in between.

  5. 5

    Warm up, cool off

The wood-fired sauna, the lake beside it, and the brave route between the two.

  6. 6

    Make something to carry home

Verkstaden's workbenches and Naturhuset's field programs. Something imperfect, made by hand.

A shape, not a schedule

What a Sångdalen weekend can look like.

An illustration, not a schedule. Every gathering is shaped around the people in it.

Friday — Arrival

  • AfternoonPeople find their cabins across several hours, not all at once.
  • EveningFirst dinner at the Lodge — the most relaxed hour of the weekend.
  • NightThe fire at Eldstugan, and no schedule after it.

Saturday — The Full Valley

  • MorningCoffee before everyone else wakes. Then everyone else wakes.
  • MiddayThe meadow, the adventure forest, the lake — everyone scatters.
  • Late daySauna, cold water, warm wood.
  • EveningEveryone gathers back at Sångringen. Someone begins a song.

Sunday — The Long Way Back

  • MorningThe slow breakfast. Often the conversation people remember.
  • MiddayOne last walk over Gamla Bron.
  • AfternoonDepartures — staggered, unhurried, with time for the goodbyes that take longest.

Around the valley

The valley holds most of it. Not all of it.

A gathering reaches past the tree line — the guests who need a bed in the village, the coffee run, the boat you did not bring. This is where that guide will live.

Every business listed here will be a real one, named with its own permission, and marked with whether Sångdalen has confirmed the details. Nothing on this page is a placeholder standing in for a business that does not exist — which is why the categories below are still empty.

However much help you want

From a set of keys to the whole song.

Just the Valley

You have this handled. The buildings, the trails, the fire rings — the space is yours.

A Guiding Hand

Help with the structure — which spaces for which hours, meals, and the shape of the days.

The Whole Song

Substantial support, arrival to farewell — you bring your people, Sångdalen carries the rest.

Shape your gathering

Tell us what you're imagining.

You don't need a complete plan. A season, a rough headcount, and the kind of time you want together are enough to begin. Nothing here is binding.
